Ampornpaisarn Today

Ampornpaisarn school has its full capacity of 2,612 students; this is comprised of 323 boarders (girls only); kindergarten - 78 boys, 115 girls; Primary - 479 boys, 871 girls; secondary - 632 and high school - 437 (both girls only). The boys have to enrol in state or private schools which accept both boys and girls. The boys have been successfully tutored to continue their study in the schools of their choice; they are taught English at Prathom V and they have grasped a fundamental knowledge of English when they have completed Prathom VI. From Prathom I - IV the students concentrate on learning basic mathematics and Thai, these lessons include education in Buddhism, Ethics and Thai history.

School staff and personnel consist of 134 permanent teachers, 12 part-time teachers and 3 foreign teachers (teaching English and French). There are about 41 additional workers comprised of cooks, launderers, house keepers and gardeners.
